French-born Léa Peckre is not an average fashion designer. After studying fashion and design at Brussel’s famous La Cambre, she won the Hyères Festival in 2011, highlighted by Raf Simons as emerging talent with her mix of new-elegance, spirituality and sensuality. She later worked at Givenchy, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Isabel Marant before recently launching her own label. Her designs are constructed with a touch of darkness and romance that evoke deep emotions. She seamlessly fuses together contrasting materials and shapes, adding a poetic narrative to avant-garde techniques. Casual meets sophistication, taking on an inevitably French flavour that works across many different situations. Léa shows her ready-to-wear collections at Paris fashion week.
